Ok, I won't beat about the bush and get straight to the point with this one. If you're serious about your singing(especially when leading worship) and want to improve, then the most simple rule to follow is to warm up!
Warm up before rehearsals.
Warm up before practice.
Warm up before service starts.
Just warm up.
Warm up daily to build strong vocals.
Warm up daily to release tension in the voice box.
Warm up daily to improve technique.
Warm up daily to make it easier to sing.
10 mins a day is a good place to start then build up to around 20mins.
Get into a Routine
